OUT OF BUSINESS
A very sad so long to our many customers, friends and family. Its is with great regret we have closed the doors to where we all have called home for the last three years. Everyone wants to know why and while I myself ask that daily, there is no easy answer. This year has been difficult for everyone. The complications with the second location, the economy and personal dilemmas all played a part in the final outcome. I assure you every effort to save this business was made and I am truly heartbroke. However, I write this today with no regret, only thanks. Thank you downtown Athens for three wonderful years of smiles, laughs, and some tears. You were my life and it was a pleasure to be apart of yours. Thank you to every employee who poured their heart into making my dreams a reality. I speak for them in saying they truly loved the people, I know it wasn't the money. ha ha.  Jason, aka Paco my latino lover, aka Sir Knight many of my happiest and funniest moments were in the vault with you. More then an employee you were my friend and every customer loved you for your desire to serve others. You were with me the longest through the good and the bad and yes the very ugly...lol. Some day we will all be able to say "I knew that guy" and be better for it. Thank you. To Laura, Emily, Brent, James, Stephen, Chuck, Lauren, Amber, Chris, Keven, Troy, Amanda, Alisha, Melissa (Sista Moon), and a lot more that I'm afraid I'm forgetting, you were the Bean and the Bean will alway be you. To the many Customers, but more over the few that made up our everyday. Ms. Kathy you kept us on our toes, John it was never the same once you left, Joe, Gene my three amegos, the late David Hutson part of the Beanery died the day you left us, Mocha Mint Lady take care of my boys, and soooo many others that will forever be remembered and considered friends thank you. Finally, Thank you to my family, friends and loved ones who sacrificed, believed in me and supported my dreams. Now your sure to run into me around town where ever God leads and when you do I hope you'll smile and remember someone who tried really hard, dared to take a chance and loved every minute of it. No longer The Beanery Lady just your friend Audra.
Thank You
